Warm up: inch worms, scorpions, pass-throughs, toy soldier march

Lifts:

1x5 Deadlift (take your time warming up)

5x3 Power Clean

Try RDL's this training cycle if you want to try something different.

Metcon: 5 rounds

*7 Kipping pullups
*10 Box Jumps (or 5 high box jumps)
*10 sit-ups

  1. Power Clean 93x3x5 Per Tom's advice, focused on keeping weight over whole foot (this seems to leave a lot more room to snap hips) and being fast through whole lift
    Deadlift 193x5x1 Last one was ugly, others fine

    Did yesterday's metcon w/ Jim and Leifur: 21, 15, 9: 36lb KB overhead swings, push-ups (alternated 2 wide elbows w/ 1 elbows tucked). Took almost 7min b/c my push-ups are so slow!!!

  2. Did yesterdays squats and bench press.
    Squats: 3x5 @285
    Bench: 2x5 @185, 1x3 @185.
    Bench feels pretty weak, definitely something to work on!
    Did today's metcon w/ 36" box in 4:50.
